The Lamu Archipelago is situated just off the shore of northern Kenya in the Indian Ocean. With its centuries-old Swahili settlements and peaceful coastline, it is best characterised by its distinctive culture and traditional Swahili stone architecture.

Unwind in beautiful Swahili accommodation and connect with the Lamu Island community. Spend your afternoons watching the Dhows of Lamu ebb and flow across the Indian Ocean and your evenings under the moon and stars listening to the nostalgic soundscapes of the region.

This is a 6-night, 7-day regenerative wellness journey in the Indian Ocean. Ideal for solo travellers, couples or friends. You will be hosted in luxury accommodation on the island in a private room or shared occupancy basis based on your preferences. Rooms are equipped with a king-sized bed and a generous ensuite bathroom. Enjoy this experience half or full board, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared by wonderful local chefs with locally sourced produce from the island.

Best Visiting Months

Lamu can be enjoyed all year round. The best time to visit is during the dry season, which typically falls between October and March, and it is when the sea is at its clearest (mid-season). December, January and February are popular months, as are July and August (peak season) whereas April and May are quieter, wetter months to visit (low season). The climate is hot and it's advisable to pack accordingly for hot days and warm evenings.

Once your bespoke travel itinerary has been curated we will be in touch to reserve your booking. A £750 non-refundable deposit must be made through a booking link provided to you in your confirmation email. The remainder of your reservation will be due by a date stipulated in your booking confirmation.
