What We Loved
In November 2024, Zami Collective welcomed its first residents at Chepsangor Hills, located in the stunning Kenyan Highlands. We immersed ourselves in nature, enjoyed hikes, and explored sustainable farming practices. Our 'farm to table' workshops, cohosted with Rosebella Langat, the founder of Chepsangor Coffee, centered on Kenya's coffee value chain and highlighted the agronomic and production processes through the lens of women-led cooperatives in Kenya. We closed the retreat with a vibrant community dreaming workshop alongside the local women’s cooperative in Chepsangor, followed by Kenyan tea and mandazi.
